Crime Victims Program
The Crime Victims Program is currently seeking hotline volunteers to go through training.
You need no experience or previous education;  we provide all the training you need to perform this valuable

community survice.

The Hotline training consists of learning about the dynamics of Rape, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence.
The trauma that those being abused face, and how to intervene.  You will also learn about active listening skills,
crisis intervention skills, and community resources as well as services provided by Chenango County Catholic Charities.

Our 45 hour hotline training is spread out over three weeks, by the end of which, you will be a certified hotline volunteer.

Working with the Crime Victims Program will give you a unique opportunity to provide direct help to those in need,
and to be a part of a progressive, collectivist organization.

Work from your own home, set your own hours.  All that is required is time, interest and commitment.  If you are up to the challenge, contact our Volunteer Coordinator Rosie Knecht, at (607) 334-8244 Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
